Automotive Technology Diploma

Program Description

This diploma program teaches the fundamentals of repair for today’s highly computerized automobiles, preparing you to work in automotive dealerships, independent repair shops, and chain automotive stores. Begin with basic repair and learn to do brakes and tuneups, steering and suspension, and electrical technology.

This program has additional specialties, enabling you to enter the workforce as transmission technicians and advanced drivability technicians with an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. The Automotive Technology Diploma Program gives you a greater choice of areas of specialization and offers more opportunities to take advanced courses.

Program Admission Requirements

  1. Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma or official GED scores.
  2. Be at least 16 years old.
  3. Present appropriate test scores, or present an official transcript documenting college level English and mathematics with grades of "C" or better.
