College Enrollment Professionals Recognized

March 5, 2008 - Columbus Technical College would like to congratulate our Director of Admissions, Nichole Kennedy, our Registrar, Kermelle Hensley and our Recruitment Manager, Tara Askew. All three women have earned the distinction of being recognized in the charter class as a Registered Enrollment Professional (REP) by the Georgia professional association for admissions and records officers.

In 2005, the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (GACRAO) launched an innovative professional development experience for “in-service” practitioners. This institute (GACRAO Institute for Strategic Enrollment Management) is embedded in the annual conference and focuses on selected advance track Enrollment Management topics, networking and approved peer review field visits.

This registry listing indicates that REPs enjoy the state professional association’s distinction as having voluntarily improved professional readiness in the field of Enrollment Management. Endorsement is demonstrated by attending 12 prescribed sessions at two recorded annual conferences and documented completion of three on-site field visits to colleague institutions with written peer review reports.
