Students Provide Information and Screenings at Health Expo

January 26, 2008 – Columbus Technical College Health Sciences students participated in the recent Men's and Women's Health & Fitness Expo held on Saturday, January 26, at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. The free event was open to the public. Vendors and healthcare providers presented valuable information and products on health issues, beauty secrets and fitness ideas. About 1,000 people attended the Expo.

Monica Harris was just one of the Columbus Technical College Practical Nursing students offering free hemoglobin screenings.

Dental Hygiene/Assisting students provided complimentary oral cancer screenings.
