Columbus Technical College Helps Launch CareersAugust 8, 2007 - Help is on the way for job-seekers in the Chattahoochee Valley. On Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Columbus Technical College’s Patrick Hall will set the stage for 50-plus employers who want to meet potential employees face-to-face. Career Launch is more than a job fair. It’s a chance for Columbus Technical College students, as well as members of the general public, to mix and mingle with some of the best companies the Columbus, Georgia area has to offer. Those companies include: Aflac, Columbus Regional, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Georgia, Pratt & Whitney, The Hughston Clinic, The Home Depot and Pratt & Whitney and many more. Those attending Career Launch are encouraged to be prepared for on-the-spot interviews. This means having an up-to-date resume’ in hand and being dressed appropriately. Besides the opportunity to meet potential employers, participants are also invited to attend breakout sessions aimed at helping prepare them for the workforce. See the Schedule of Events below:
