Radiologic Technology Degree
Degree: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)
Program Description: This program instructs students in an area of high technology in the field of medicine. Students will experience all the applications of diagnostic imaging, including routine radiography and fluoroscopy, trauma radiography, surgical and mobile radiography, pediatric radiography, as well as subspecialties such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultra sound (US) and nuclear medicine (NM) and radiation therapy. Program graduates are eligible to sit for the national accreditation examination, administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), which awards a national certification in Radiology Technology. With the partnerships the college has with area hospitals, students will have the benefits of on-the-job training in a clinical setting.

Program Admission Requirements:
- Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma or official GED Scores.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Present appropriate test scores.
- Successful completion of Level I background check prior to interview.
- Submit the following by October 1 prior to January of the year in which admission is sought:
- Letter of Intent Form
- Self evaluation form.
- Immunization Record
- Physical Exam Form
- Personal Data Form
- Technical Standards Form
