Central Sterile Processing Technician Certificate

Program Description: This program provides entry-level training in nationally based competencies in healthcare sterile supply processing and distribution areas. Jobs are available in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities. Graduates will be prepared to take the National Institute for the Certification of Healthcare Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician's Exam.

Length of Program: 15 Credit hours

Program Admission Requirements:

  1. Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma or official GED scores.
  2. Be at least 17 years old.
  3. Successfully complete Level I Background check before clinical rotation.
  4. Submit current physical exam, immunization record and PPD results before entering clinical rotation.
