Who is eligible for Financial Aid?Financial aid is available to qualified students from a variety of federal, state, and local sources. Students receiving financial aid from any Title IV Program and/or State grant will be required to maintain a quarterly grade point average of 2.0 and complete at least 67 percent of the scheduled credits for each quarter. Students enrolled in associate degree programs receiving the HOPE Scholarship are required to maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0. It is the policy of Columbus Technical College to coordinate, campus-wide, all financial aid activities to ensure optimum utilization of available resources. How do I find sources of funding?Students wishing to apply for assistance should review the Financial Aid Programs available. Campus-wide Financial Aid Referral ServiceStudents who wish to apply for assistance should discuss options with the Financial Aid Office. Because some programs are managed by personnel outside the financial aid office, it will be necessary to refer applicants to other program managers. It is important that anyone seeking financial assistance start the process at the financial aid office.
