Welcome

If the United States is to continue to be the world's leading economy, there is no choice but to produce an educated and skilled workforce. Currently, only 15% of our jobs can be filled by unskilled labor. That means the other 85% must be educated beyond high school. Workers here in Columbus, whether they know it or not, are in competition with workers from around the world, and the only way they can compete is to be better educated and more highly skilled.

Columbus Technical College has the responsibility of producing a more highly trained workforce. We do so by maintaining constant contact with leaders of business and industry to ensure that the training we provide will make the workforce in Columbus and the surrounding region competitive in a global market. The College is committed to its mission of workforce development and meeting the needs of our business and industry. If the Economic Development Division can assist your company, please contact me at 706.649.1449.

We look forward to serving you.
