Microcomputer Specialist Degree

Degree: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)

Program Description

The Microcomputer Specialist Degree Program provides you with the concepts, principles, and techniques required for proficiency in general computer hardware and networking and with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office application software including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Desktop Publishing. You, the graduate, will receive a Microcomputer Specialist Associate of Applied Science Degree and will be qualified for employment as a help-desk consultant and a desktop applications specialist.

Program Admission Requirements

  1. Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma or official GED scores.
  2. Be at least 16 years old.
  3. Present appropriate test scores, or present anofficial transcript documenting college level English and mathematics with grades of "C" or better.
  4. No special admission allowed in the program.
