Business Office and Cashier
The Business Office manages collection of tuition and other fees owed to the college. The Cashier is located on the first floor of the Administration Building.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees are subject to change. A tuition increase of $5 per credit hour has been approved for the Technical Colleges, to begin Winter Quarter (January) 2008. This increase is included in the below rates.

Specialized Tuition Rates:
- Phlebotomy Technician, Basic Welding Specialist, Basic Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Basic Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and Industrial Maintenance Welder Level Two, tuition is $52.00 per credit hour.
- Certified Customer Service Specialist tuition is $54.00 per credit hour.
- Certified Life and Health Insurance Specialist tuition is $46.00 per credit hour.
- Certified manufacturing specialist tuition is $54.00 per credit hour.
- Emergency Medical Technician tuition is $54.00 per credit hour.
- Hospitality Industry Associate tuition is $54.00 per credit hour.
- Patient Care Assisting tuition is $48.00 per credit hour.

Other Mandatory Fees (PER QUARTER):
Registration Fee $26, Activity Fee $16, Technology and Instructional Support Fee $35
The cost of books varies depending on the program. Some programs also require the purchase of uniforms and additional supplies.
Other Fees:
- Parking Decal - $15 annually
- Transcript Fee - $5 per transcript
- Student I.D. Badge - $5 replacement fee
- Retest Fee - $10 per section
- Exemption Test - $25
- Diploma Replacement - $25
Refunds:
Students must be formally dropped from class to receive a refund. It is the student's responsibility to insure the withdrawal is completed. Please see the Columbus Technical College Student Handbook and Catalog (pdf  ) for complete refund procedures. Refunds are granted for only the first 12 hours of tuition.
