Authorizing the use of Financial Aid to Pay fees

Financial Aid Fee Authorization

Through Banner Web, students may authorize the use of their financial aid to pay various fees, including the technology fee.

Authorizing the use of Financial Aid to pay fees:

  1. Log in to Banner Web: poseidon.columbustech.edu.

  2. From the Main Menu, select the Student Services & Financial Aid option.
  3. From the Student Services Menu, select the Student Records option.
  4. Select Account Detail by Term
  5. Select the appropriate term
  6. Select Financial Aid Authorization
  7. Select each authorization link that appears in your account
    Banner Web student Financial Aid Authorization screen.
    In the example above there are two authorization links: Hope Grant and Pell Grant; your account may have different links. For each authorization, select the link, read the statement that appears, and click the button to Authorize the payment of your fees with financial aid.
