Basic Shielded Metal Arc Welding Certificate

Program Description

This program produces graduates who are prepared for employment as welders in the specified area of basic shielded metal arc welding. As a graduate, you leave the program with entry-level skills in basic welding principles; oxy-fuel cutting and shielded metal arc welding.

Program Admission Requirements

  1. No high school diploma or official GED scores required.
  2. Be at least 16 years old.
  3. Meet minimum test scores.
  4. Complete a program conference sheet with advisor prior to admission.
