Program Description:

The CDA II Certificate Program is designed to provide knowledge, skills, techniques and early childhood classroom experience (480 hours) necessary to meet the specific needs of children and families. The competencies are aligned with the existing CDA standards from the Council for Early Childhood Recognition. The CDA II technical certificate program is endorsed by the Georgia Childhood Care and Education Professional Development System.

Program Admission Requirements:

  • Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma or official GED scores.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Meet minimum test scores.
  • Apply for a criminal record check, and present official documentation of a TB test.
