Paramedic Instructor - Full Time

Columbus Technical College is accepting applications for a Paramedic Instructor in the EMT Program. Responsibilities: •Classroom and clinical teaching •Student advisement •Participation in program and college committees •Involvement in professional activities/organizations Requirements: •Associate Degree in Paramedic Technology or related area from an accredited program required •Bachelors Degree preferred •Teaching and curriculum development experience preferred •Recent clinical experience in the field of emergency medicine • Certified as EMT-PM in Georgia •Appropriate instructor certification required •Proficient with current applications in computer technology •Active participation in professional organizations required •Excellent written and verbal skills required. Economics Instructor - Part time

Columbus Technical College is accepting applications for an Economics Instructor. Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited college with 18 graduate semester hours/30 graduate quarter hours in economics. Successful applicant will serve as an adjunct faculty member teaching economics within the School of Business &Information Systems for the upcoming summer quarter during the evening. Culinary Instructor - Full Time

Columbus Technical College is accepting applications for a Culinary Instructor. Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited college with 18 graduate semester hours/30 graduate quarter hours in culinary arts. Occupational experience must have occurred in a setting appropriate to culinary skills. A basic level of computer skills is required. This instructor will serve as a fulltime faculty member teaching Culinary Arts within the School of Professional and Technical Services beginning Winter Quarter 2008. Duties will include classroom and lab instruction, recruitment, advisement, retention, and the daily operations of the culinary arts program. This will include day and evening classes. Salary is based upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include state holidays; annual, personal and sick leave; and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program. Mathematics Instructor - FT

Columbus Technical College is accepting applications for a full-time Learning Support Mathematics Instructor. Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited college with 18 graduate semester hours/30 graduate quarter hours in mathematics, mathematics education, or adult education. A basic level of computer skills is required. This instructor will serve as a fulltime faculty member teaching learning support mathematics within the School of General Studies beginning Summer Quarter 2008. Duties will include classroom and lab instruction, providing registration assistance, reporting inventory, and working on projects with other Academic Affairs and Student Affairs personnel. This will include day and evening classes. Salary is based upon qualifications and experience. Computer Training Instructor-Part time

Columbus Technical College is accepting applications for a Part time Computer Training Instructor. QUALIFICATIONS: BS or BA Degree from a regionally accredited college/university. Teaching experience required. Microsoft Office Certification preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Photoshop, Acrobat & various other needed computer programs. Must be able to work on various projects simultaneously. RESPONSIBILITIES: This instructor will provide support to the Computer Training Manager and the Economic Development Department. Applicant should be prepared to work day, evening, weekend, onsite and/or offsite to support the needs of the students. Working hours will be at least 29 hours a week. OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant should have a background in teaching adults. SALARY: Salary is based upon qualifications and experience. Financial Services Professional Instructor - PT

Columbus Technical College is accepting applications for a Part time Financial Services Professional Instructor. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college in accounting, finance, business administration or related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as a part-time faculty member within the Economic Development Division. Applicant will be able to combine high standards with a relationship oriented approach to the student population. Will have primary responsibility for financial services program development and daily operations, teaching, advising, and recruitment. Should be prepared to teach day, evening or online classes as assigned to support the needs of the students. Applicant will establish and maintain a close working relationship with local businesses and industries to ensure program courses meet or exceed their expectations, and to develop work-based experiences for those close to graduation.OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant should have a broad background in accounting, finance, or business administration with preference given to those applicants who have post-secondary teaching experience or who are recent graduates in the field. In-field work experience will also be considered. Applicant must demonstrate excellent organizational, computer, verbal and written communication skills. Applicant must be computer literate.
